server are both running on the same network, using omniORB to communicate,
the code works fine. Currently they are using a stringified IOR, and no
naming service. When trying to split them across the networks, even with
supplying endPoints for the orb, an Object Not Found error is thrown on the
first connection across that tries to resolve the IOR.</FONT></SPAN></DIV>

different things and keep running into brick walls, so I'm thinking there is a
basic piece that I am missing. I know that what I am trying to do should
be possible, and has probably already been done by people on this list, and so I
am looking for the high level overview on the best way to implement
this. Any suggestions you have or descriptions of how you solved this
type of problem in your environment would be greatly
