Hi,<BR>
Following are the list of steps which i have followed to complie OMNIORB 2.8.<BR>
<BR>
Step #1. ran <STRONG><FONT color=#800000>vcvars32.bat </FONT></STRONG>To set the env variables for vc Complier.<BR>
Step #2. Downloaded <BR>
<A href="ftp://ftp.uk.research.att.com/pub/omniORB/gnu-win32-lite.zip">ftp://ftp.uk.research.att.com/pub/omniORB/gnu-win32-lite.zip</A> at and extracted it to c:\C:\gnuwin32.<BR>
Step #3. Added the path variable entry "C:\gnuwin32\bin".<BR>
Step #4. ran this <FONT color=#000000>command</FONT> <FONT color=#800000><STRONG>C:\gnuwin32\bin\checkmounts C:\gnuwin32</STRONG> </FONT><FONT color=#000000>successfully.</FONT><BR>
<FONT color=#000000>Step #5. Edited the file <OMNI_DIR>\config\config.mk and uncommented the line <BR>
platform = x86_nt_4.0.<BR>
Step #6. After running <STRONG>make export </STRONG>I get the following error. <BR>
<BR>
It tries to acces the registry entry software\Cygnus Solutions\Cygwin.dll setup\b15.0\mount\00.<BR>
though inside C:\gnuwin32\bin <FONT color=#800000><STRONG>cygwin1.dll</STRONG> </FONT>file is present. but no registry file to set this registry entry.<BR>
