I</FONT></SPAN><SPAN LANG="en-us"><FONT FACE="Calibri">’</FONT></SPAN><SPAN LANG="en-us"><FONT FACE="Calibri">m wondering why the application can</FONT></SPAN><SPAN LANG="en-us"><FONT FACE="Calibri">’</FONT></SPAN><SPAN LANG="en-us"><FONT FACE="Calibri">t simply test for the</FONT></SPAN><SPAN LANG="en-us"> <FONT FACE="Calibri">existence</FONT></SPAN><SPAN LANG="en-us"><FONT FACE="Calibri"> of the logfile on startup and, if it doesn</FONT></SPAN><SPAN LANG="en-us"><FONT FACE="Calibri">’</FONT></SPAN><SPAN LANG="en-us"><FONT FACE="Calibri">t exist simply create it. I raise this point because we typically configure</FONT></SPAN><SPAN LANG="en-us"><FONT FACE="Calibri"> omniNames to run as a Windows service, and it seems</FONT></SPAN><SPAN LANG="en-us"><FONT FACE="Calibri"> rather awkward to have to manually start names with the</FONT></SPAN><SPAN LANG="en-us"> <FONT FACE="Calibri">–</FONT></SPAN><SPAN LANG="en-us"><FONT FACE="Calibri">start option, shut down Names, and then restart it</FONT></SPAN><SPAN LANG="en-us"> <FONT FACE="Calibri">from the Local Service control window.</FONT></SPAN></P>
