There is no difference in application source code that I can recall and
(probably) no difference in operation. But you did not mention what
version of omniORB you are using.<br>

I think there may be some differences in behavior wrt endpoints and
machine names; occasionally when moving my laptop around to different
networks I'll have trouble connecting my clients and servers. But those
are configuration issues on my machine and probably would not come up
in normal operation (and the symptoms may have a different cause
anyway).<br>
