I think it is quite easy to create an event service using omniORB2 to
provide 1-to-n communication. Of course, for each event, you have to send n
copies individually using IIOP.
If the overhead of this approach is too high, you may want to use some sort
of multicast communication, such as the unreliable IP multicast or ISIS
style reliable group communication. To do so, a new transport has to be
plugged into omniORB2. There are well-defined interfaces within the runtime
to do this. You might be interested to investigate this further.
