On RedHat 6.0, I have managed to compile omniORB, and the Name Service
and the echo examples work. I am still not sure though, if I chose the
correct cpp in ./mk/platforms/i586_linux_2.0_glibc.mk
I couldn't find a cpp executable anywhere, so a wild guess was that g++
itself would do the c pre processing, hence I used:
CPP = /usr/bin/g++
More info
Linux dist: RedHat 6.0
omniORB Platform: i586_linux_2.0_glibc
Compiler version:
$ g++ -v
Reading specs from /usr/lib/gcc-lib/i386-redhat-linux/egcs-2.91.66/specs
gcc version egcs-2.91.66 19990314/Linux (egcs-1.1.2 release)
Thanks
