[omniORB] omniEvents problem - getting a core dump

hi,
I have come across the following Error while using paul nader's event =
service, could anyone tell me what causes the error:
The following stmts show gdb of the core :
[nasex]/home/nasex/menu > gdb ../bin/eventd core
