I'd dispute the fact that Python is mutated Scheme. The programming
paradigms are completely different. That's not to say that Python is
more or less useful than Scheme -- some things are best written in a
language like Python, others are best written in a language like
Scheme.
You're welcome to propose a CORBA Scheme mapping, and implement it for
omniORB. We'll add it to our distribution. :-)
In the mean time, ILU from Xerox PARC supports Common Lisp and Guile.
