[omniORB] IDL Question

I have a situation like this: (in C++)

struct OneThing
{
  int counter;
}

struct SecondThing
{
  OneThing things[5];
}

How does this translate into IDL?
I tried declaring it directly, and using a typedef, but omniidl2 gives me
an error! Once I declare this complex data type, will I be able to return
an instance of it to a client's call?
