[omniORB] Missing _var_type and _ptr_type in PortableServer::POA

Hi,

Just so you know: I ran into a small problem testing the omniORB 3.0
snapshot dated 19 november 1999. The PortableServer::POA proxy class does
not define _var_type and _ptr_type. When I tried to instantiate a template
that depends on these typedefs, the compiler used the definitions found in
CORBA::Object, which caused some fascinating diagnostics.
