Apologies if this is too far off topic.
We're planning on using an LDAP server as a naming service for a CORBA =
application that uses two different ORB's (omniORB on Windows 95/98/NT =
and MICO on UNIX). Connecting the LDAP server by hostname and port is =
preferable to connecting to the CORBA naming service by IOR in our =
situation. Some others on this list had mentioned doing something =
similar.
Now for my question. Is there a "standard" LDAP schema for doing server =
lookup? Not really CORBA specific, but something more generic and =
perhaps widely used?
