If you stick to using CORBA compliant features in Orbix it is not such a
difficult task to port to another ORB. The referance manuals clearly stat=

an API is CORBA compliant or not. =

Of course there is nothing stopping you adding IOCallbacks to omniORB (th=

bueaty of open-source :)
