[omniORB] FW: compile errors found in 2.8

Sigh! It is a known bug in VC++ 5.0, you need at least VC++5.0sp2 to get
the fix to cvpack.. I have said so in my announcement of 2.8.0pre2. Somehow
the information was not transferred to the final release.
