[omniORB] Unable to import omniORB.CORBA in omniORBpy

I builh omniORB 3.0 and omniORBpy 1.0 on a Mandrake Linux 7.1 system
without errors. I then installed it by copying
lib/i586_linux_2.0_glibc2.1/* to /usr/local/lib (and running ldconfig),
copying lib/python/* to /usr/lib/python1.5/site-packages, and copying
lib/i586_linux_2.0_glibc2.1/_omnipymodule.so to
/usr/lib/python1.5/site-packages/omniORB . When try to import omniORB.CORBA
I get the following exception:

  File "/usr/lib/python1.5/site-packages/omniORB/__init__.py", line 280, in ?
    from _omnipy.omni_func import *
ImportError: No module named omni_func

I'm sure a must have missed something copying the files over, but I cannot
figure out what it is, can someone help me with this problem?
