I went to omni/include/omniORB3/CORBA_sysdeps.h, and removed the comment

the line "#define ENABLE_CLIENT_IR_SUPPORT".  Then I did a
"make veryclean; make export".

Yes.  One of the other ORBS our software compiles on needed that...
