I'm stressing the system a great deal.  All my clients are also
servers. I stop and restart communicating peers (a lot).  

If you are interested in reproducing the problem, the lockup will
occur during the regression tests for Recall:

Assuming you have cygwin installed, type "make test".

With this work-around, things work great... which is quite remarkable.
