[omniORB] COMM_FAILURE

omniOrb3 example programs eg2 and eg3 won't work on my machine.

Everythink compiles Ok, but when I I run eg2=5Fimpl, for example, I get th=
e expected IOR :

If I use catior followed by the IOR to get the IP addresse and the TCP por=
t and do a telnet, I get the string =22GIOP=22 followed by a couple of cha=
racters and the connection breaks.

My machine runs linux RedHat7 (2.2.16-22).
I've tried the same on a SUN Sparc5 and everything works fine=21

Does somebody know what I do wrong ?
