[omniORB] OO4 snapshots on AIX?

Hi,

 I also tried to build omni4 on AIX without success. I seem
to recall, problems with long long an wide string support, and
the shared library required by omniidl not being build (properly).
After hacking around for quite a while, i gave up because
of the interesting build system...
 I have been waiting for the "Improved configuration and build
enviroment"
to happen before trying again. I suppose some sort effort could
be coordinated between omniORB enthusiasts with access to AIX boxes?
