[omniORB] New to omniorb (and CORBA)

Hi John,

 I think, you can pretty much treat win2000 as NT 4.0
with respect to omniORB at least. So you should define
those macros.
 The interoperability between omniORB and other orbs
ought not to be a significant issue, since omniORB is
very CORBA compliant. Most interoperability issues, i
recall, have been due to conformance issues of other
ORBs. Orbix has had several problems in the past, i
dont know, if it still does. You might want to do
some interoperability studies just to be sure:)
