[omniORB] omniORB 3.0.4: different compiler for omniORB as for the rest of the code?

Hi,

We have compiled omniORB from sources using the gcc-2.96 (RedHat 7.2). We
were then testing the gcc 3.0.4. We compiled our code with 3.0.4.

Linker failed to find any symbols in omniORB/omnithread shared libraries.

Is it wrong what we attempted to do or should it be possible?

We will try to recompile omniORB with 3.0.4 also and re-link.
