I use JacORB 1.3.30 in conjunction with omniORBpy 1.4. omniORBpy works fine
as the client to a JacORB server.
Are you talking about a bug/fix in JacORB 1.4 (post beta 4), or a bug in the
beta of the omniORB 4 release?
Jimmy

between JacORB and OmniORB
I think this is a known bug that has been fixed (sadly post beta 4).
OmniORB initially sends a GIOP LocateRequest prior to the actual
request. As part of the GIOP 1.2 updates this functionality had been
lost.
Cheers Steve.
