[omniORB] Ominorb 4 + AIX 5.1 + gcc 295

In fact, we have our own cvs with omniORB to be able to keep the
modifications we made on it.
We only have built libraries (static and dynamic) on AIX.
Anyway, we didn't change much thing in the PowerPC AIX makefile.
We have commented the full Visual Age section.

We have uncommented the gcc section:
	CXX             = g++
	CXXDEBUGFLAGS   = 
	#CXXDEBUGFLAGS   = -g
	CXXOPTIONS      = -O2
	#CXXOPTIONS      = -mt
	CXXLINK         = g++
	MTFLAGS         = -mthreads
	#
	CC              = gcc
	CLINK           = gcc

The gcc used is 3.1 with libutils 1.12.
Also have a look in the dir.mk files to avoid building tool, app and so on.

Hi Thomas,

could you please publish your makefile for compiling omniORB 3.0.4 on
AIX 4.3. I havent't found that makefile yet. In the OmniORB distribution
there only exits a makefile for compiling OmniORB using Visual Age
and/or IBM Set ... :-(

Hi guys,

I don't know yet for omniORB 4 on AIX 5.1 (we should shift to omniORB 4
as
soon as an official release will be available), but we had successfully
compiled omniORB 3.0.4 on a 4.3.3 AIX platform using gcc 3.1.
We tried with gcc 2.95.3 but this compiler was not generating correct
code
on AIX. Use at least gcc 3.1.
