There was a bug in the locking code, that meant certain kinds of
exceptions could confuse it. I've fixed it in CVS.

There's no easy way around that with the current build process, I'm
afraid. The only solution is to make sure you delete the old
installation.

The new COS IDL build for omniORBpy accidentally broke it. That has
already been fixed in CVS (in the main omniORB tree, where the COS idl
comes from).
