[omniORB] using parameter -ORBpoa_iiop_name_port

Hi All,

While trying to make my corba servers listen on more then a single network
interface, 
I tried to use the  -ORBpoa_iiop_name_port parameter.
I first tried it on the naming service.
I have noticed that I can give it any parameter, even of non exists servers,
and all seems to work fine.
Is that the behavior I should expect ?
