I have no problems using Python 2.2 as installed by simply using the
configure scripts supplied with both omniORB and omniORBpy.
How did you come by your impression? What happens during your build? I've
never needed to download the minimal omnipython.

I want to use a python 2.3 backend with omniidl.
My impression is, that omniidl does not use my proper python installation,
but instead uses its own ancient 1.5 python.
How can I make omniidl use the correct python version?
I do not want to port all the python libraries from 2.3 to 1.5, as the
syntax has changed very much.
