[omniORB] Plattform support

It should work fine if you use the Compaq (HP now, I suppose) C++
compiler. It will definitely not work with gcc 2.x, since it does not
support thread safe exception handling on Alpha. It might work with
gcc 3.2, but I haven't heard definitely either way.
