[omniORB] omniORB: Unrecoverable error for this endpoint: giop:tcp

Hi All

We are getting this error both in solaris and windows when we are testing
omniORB for hogh load connections and some 300 clients are currently using
it. 

We get omniORB: Unrecoverable error for this endpoint:
giop:tcp:x.x.x.x:2222, it will no longer be serviced.

After this the server becomes unusable

 

What is the error all about ???

Is this max file/socket limit that we have somehow reached ???

I found that our process was only using 1024 file handles. I found from
/proc/proc_id/fd and counted that the no of files handles was 1024 and the
number of sockets was 691 only.

ulimit -n was 4096

set rlim_fd_max=4096 was there in /etc/system
