[omniORB] Configuring the Naming service

Help for a new entry in the omniORB space. 
Here is the tree of omniORB installation on my Linux system.

omniORB                               omni-inst

build   ...     omniORB-4.0.3

ast == my user
build == space for examples of omniORB (for training)
build1 == parallel to build, is the space for future services development
omniORB-4.0.3 == authomatically generated by make, it contains the omniORB package
omni-inst ==  defined by the --prefix option in the configure command, it contains the executable omniORB components.

Step 1 OK
Step 2 ./omniNames -start does not work in omni-inst, nor in build, nor in build.

Can someone give me any suggestions ?
