Works fine for me with the following registry settings:

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\omniORB]
"InitRef"="NameService=corbaname::localhost"
_______________________

which is not exactly what is suggested in the README file, but this
should get you through.
