The minimum python release is compiled with VC++ 6 and I believe omniidl
uses python. So when python loads the VC++ 7 omniorb dlls it causes
problems. So you would probably need to recompile python.

Subject: [omniORB] bug of omniidl on windows
Greetings,
I downloaded the source codes of omniorb 4.0.3 and the minimum release
of python 1.5.2. I compiled the source codes with visual
C++ 7.0 on Windows 2000. Everything works fine except the omniidl.
When I used omniidl to compile an idl, it will report an error saying
"omnicpp: stdout: Bad file descriptor" and stop. Now, I have use the
omniidl from the binary version to compile idl.
Any idea or suggestion? Thank you.
Regards,
Xueming
