[omniORB] Enabling client port

I have created an application which allows a client to request several object
references from the naming service, where each reference is associated with a
different machine (1 client/n slaves). I set the server port number using
-ORBendPoint <details>, however have been unable to do the same for the client.
Can anyone provide any insight into whether or not it is possible to set a
specific port number on a client?
