[omniORB] newbie:python dictionary

Yes, definitely true.  I just don't want to use ICE and rewriting is not an option.  Right now, anyway.  I suspect at some future date someone will want to interface with this service with another language then they will ok the rewrite.  Ah, the life of the corporate   serf.

Ok, that's fair enough if all your components are written in Python.
You lose the language independence of CORBA though.
