[omniORB] help for dir.mk

my precious mail was "help in compilation of client / server code". it was
negligence on my behalf not to read the readme file carefully. i have
compiled the client / server implementations by making dir.mk file by
reverse engineering the dir.mk and GNUmake files. but i still dont
understand the script wriiten in them. where i can get help on comprehending
these make files.
