[omniORB] Data transfering speeds.

Good afternoon,

While developing a data-transfering API using Octet-datachunks and
callbacking I am obtaining good speeds when transfering data from JAVA to
JAVA implementations (localhost-localhost), but the speed is greatly
(severely) reduced during JAVA to C++ transfers. I have tried to determine
the reason in the code but I have not found any. Is the speed reduction
expected due to the marshalling/unmarshalling between different languages
architecture ?
