[omniORB] Objects by value?

As other have said, it's OBV. You need it if you're using
dynamic composite objects as parameters, of if you have
problems with referential integrity of parameters. OBV supports
this. No code transport yet, although there is an interface
provision.

Yes, it runs fine.

Not yet. In the meantime, you can try MICO ORB (www.mico.org)
or OB version 4.05. MICO is very close to the standard, but is
very slow and single threaded. OB doesn't link on my platform,
so I was unable to try OBV.
